BACK IN ONE WEEK! HMMMMMMM?

HAPPINESS IS THIS:

I sang in a church choir for the first time ever--Sunday morning--and it was F.U.N.  It was good!

If you should feel inspired to comment--how about the last time YOU did something for the first time. Please?

The truth:
This is my last blog posting for ONE WEEK, maybe more, maybe less.  Too many chores have fallen too far behind. I am feeling unhealthful stress.  IRS taxes are still waiting for me, also LOADS of yard work, before winter--with it's 55-80 f) (13-26 c) degree temps. And I've got to do some serious violin practice to prepare   for winter gigs.

Another truth:
My addiction to this blog community has taken over my life. I need to regain some of it. You all have taught me that. Thank you Sooooo much!  This is like a vacation, which used to mean VACATE!

As I grow older, I find out--
Not too late I hope,
The following to observe:

Life Is So Very Short.
Break The Rules.
Forgive Quickly.
Kiss Slowly.
Love Truly.
Laugh Uncontrollably,
And Never Regret Anything
That Made You Smile.
Life May Not Be The Party
We Hoped For,
But While We're Here, Let us DANCE...

And let's dance CLEAN AND SOBER!

Peace.
Love.
Steve

awe, and i am just getting caught up!! i missed you too, but i know what you mean about getting away from the computer and the addiction to it!!
i made a policy change motion on the regional floor in August. the motion requires any member stepping into a service position at the regional level, i am talking all executive members, and subcommittee chairs, that they fill out a service resume.
San Diego already has this in place, i just borrowed theirs and adapted it to fit our region.
the point of this was that so everyone gets the same questions when elections come. any way it was very scary but i did it and now it is out of my hands!!

Be back when you can.
Hope you get caught up on everything.
I always find it's good to take breaks from blogging.
I do it all the time.

As always

Margie:)

Congrads on your singing!! Learning how to canoe, I was afraid of being judge for not knowing how considering I was experienced in a lot of other outdoor/camping activities. Canoeing is very relaxing and taking one the river through some rough water is a trill!
Enjoy the dance!!! Look forward to your return.

It's ok to take a break. We are all caught up in blog excesses.

At least it's a helpful excess, right?

Have a little more fun, Steve.

I'm glad you're taking some you time to love yourself and others at home.

I'll miss you but I know you're in the palm of God's hand doing his work.

I understand. I too feel the need to take a break some days. Blogging takes up a lot of time, yet I gain so much from it.

YOU MISTER, WILL BE MISSED!...but we all need a retreat! I'm supposed to be on one myself, if you recall. Thanks for the reminder.

Enjoy yourself while you're catching up on yard work, etc.

Keep smilin' my dear friend~

Nice message, great one, thanks for it, it gave me hope that things would get better. It made me feel less crazy. Last time I got inspired, I invented a new way of discovering collocations of words with a large collection of text (I know it is crazy it is natural language programming stuff)

Thanks, and also for the neat advice you gave.

Wait. What? said...

Wnderful life philosophy steve - happy weekend to you!

Steveeroni, I know how that blog addiction can be! It really can take over your life and is a great distraction. I have really pulled back from my blogging, and am getting so much more done with my painting and my friendships with people in my tangible world. That is so important. I highly support you in doing less online. But you are a blessing and I will always be happy to see you here in cyberspace, but also happy knowing you are doing what you need to do to take care of yourself.

taking a break is ok...
for some reason I feel like I have to do it all...or to be productive...
I'm learning that I can just be.
You can too.
