MY EARLY "55"
BLISSFUL DENIAL
Nobody told me sir
So I did not know
That it is now winter
Where is the snow?
No one said to me
Come now...now go
Yet down to the sea
I followed river's flow
Of age I am not aware.
Life happens, speedily
So to live and love readily
I am guiltless....happily
LOVE, Peeps...and PEACE!
If anybody wants to play, write a story in exactly 55 words, visit G-MAN (Mr Know-it-All) for more info, and to let him know ya DID it!

An officionado of Words, as well as the Fiddle!
Since you are the only person on the Web older than me, you may post when the Spirit moves you.
Thanks for playing today, and have a Wonderful Week-End...G
Steve, you could write a meaningful story in 25 words!
By the way, that is a huge cock-head in the above picture, on the rooster, of course!

Yours is great, just had to try something.
There is no denial
Love to write but must confess
much easier in five hundred fifty.
Okay okay must apologize
I find my mind is scrambled.
See the time is flying
start to ramble
the final period won't come
Must hurry
the finish line and peace
are here someplace.
Here with this
my final line.

To live and love... exactly! That's what life is all about. Cool 55, Steve!

Never ever take anything that I blither on about seriously. I have nothing but admiration and respect for you as an Artist and a Loving Compassionate Human Being. I think you are courageous, and an inspiration to those in need of help in their fight to free themselves from the temptation and horror of addiction. I ALWAYS respect my elders...Pops!
So much meaning in this. Excellently done.
Thanks for visiting mine! I love this piece because the message is so important.
I'm a little disatracted by that giant cock though. Hmmm
EXcellENT Steve...mighty excellent.
My FF55 is fiction to some, but to others not so. It's...

How come, if that bird was about 7" tall, Peeps wouls call him a rooster? But that he is six feet tall, you all insist to call him a large (big...huge...) Cock?

You lucky bug. I'VE got your cold weather.
Okay..I'm gonna say it. Big cocks should always be kept on a leash, lest they run amuck.
I'm leaving now. :;snicker::

Your 55 made me remember Big Jerry, an oldtimer when I first got sober, who always ended his pitch with "Go with the Flow!"
I loved him, and I love your peaceable heart.
dear steve, thank you so much for your kind comments on my blog today..they are deeply appreciated♥
Once a man was thoughtful and asked Alser said, thinking how quickly time has passed, yesterday my daughter just celebrated her five years and today I called to say he expected a child. Un abrazo; good poem. "I translated right?

25 years dry.
