The truth is that I LOVE writing, drawing, poetry, music, blogging and learning. If God wishes to help someone here--even if it's me--that is a bonus! I cannot try to be teacher or director, but merely a student of life--for...ever!
I seek not new Peeps, comments, accolades, followers, etc. Just I will post when and what I feel like writing. I have learned these past eight days who is important--or rather who is NOT important--and that is me! All is well!

YES, there IS a Flash Fiction "55" below the photo
NOT FOR......EVER
We met in the horse barn,
Nellie Jane and me.
I was five. She was eight.
Comfortable in the piles of hay
We heard the storm outside
Approaching...blowing,
Shuttered windows noisily
Contrasted our uttermost calmness
We knew we'd be late.
We loved, made love
--Childlike.
I was five. She was eight.
I cry now!

And it was so cool that you could remember back that far!
What A Memory!!!!!
Excellent 55 My Friend, nothing but Top Notch Entertainment from your household.
Thanks for rejoining the living, thanks for visiting, thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End...Galen
Never too young to love, or too old to die...or something! See if you can spot the lyrics in my 55 words
Great to have you back. It felt like eight months here, too! Nice 55. Mine is up as well at http://bit.ly/8dt963. Take care and have a great weekend!
How sweet is that?
Why are you crying?
Memories are good for you, sometimes!
Mine is here
Have a FANTASTIC FRIDAY now!
hugs
shakira
Sweet, but I too am wondering why you cry now.
Sorry can't help the LOL
Is it desire that wells up inside you a God inspired desire to carry love and understanding...
Is it desire to have someone reflect it back to you?
Is it just what it is and nothing more.
Doesn't matter, I'm glad to see you again my friend!
there are many unanswered questions here...maybe they'll be revealed on a later post???
8 days without your head patted or your ego stroked. That must be a record for you.
ANONYMOUS: Yep! A record. YOU make it 9 days--grin!
WENDILEA: Those addictions we cannot be rid of, might just be OK? I've gotta read you more often.
JESSIE: Unanswered questions? After all--it IS only a poem--grin!
JESS MISTRESS OF: Have to answer things like that face-to-fac--maybe next August? Hmmmm? Big MAYBE
PATTI-KEN: It's a poem...It's a POEM! I can be stting laughing at the able, and yet cry in the poem, right? Wrong? I'm open to suggestions (another change?).
Shakira: Thanks for dropping in. I do not cry any more...unless....
CHITOWNGREG: Guys like you I DID miss, but you went no place--I did! Glad to be here "wasting time" again--grin!
JOHN: You are one sharp cookie, always surprising. A sad song you referenced today. But we shall neither weep, nor LOL.
G-MAN: How nice of you to comment so KickAssedly on my blog--I've already got one for next friday!
DULCE: What can I say? You are/have been the nicest Peep to me, through a long winter--so helpful to an old guy. Love ya, too!
BRIAN MILLER: May be something missing, after all--it is ONLY 55 words. I'll have to remember better, maybe est not to go there?
dAAve: You got a point. Guess I made the point.
cute 55,
you are smart about love...
What a fabulous 55, Steve! Very touching and, though there is the childlike element, it is about all of us. I cry, too. And, it's really good to have you back... Again. Hey, since when does anyone put boundaries on what we can and can't do with our blogs? You can quit and come back whenever you like... I say! :-)
Nevine
NEVINE: Now THAT is the kind of support I expect here--not the "I have blogged every single day since 1956, and if you do not, you are not a blogger..." LOL Thanks! I bow to you as the writer extraordinaire on these blogs...
JINGLE: Smart about love? You do not really know me then. Married four times, and would have been at least eight, if it were not for these damned inhibitions! LOL
Eight and five! What hussy! HAHAHAHAHA!
WELL WELL WELLL! I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU come out of the barn.
HAHAHAHAH! WHY are you punishing yourself. I am laughing because I am so much like you in this regard. I subject myself to rules that make me suffer and it proves nothing. I think Geminis like to torture themselves because they feel guilty that they are having so much fun!
I am so happy you are back. Isn't that silly? I hardly even knew you.
Oh by the way, I am a coffee lover but no flavored coffee. I want the real ones. I like that coffee picture on the sidebar.
Nellie Jane. Steve! An eight year
old cow? My grandmother had one named Nellie Belle. NOPE NEVER WITH A BOVINE or any other female. No bull.
I'm sure a Lambda Meeting can be arranged. I'm still wondering about those wide doors in the back of CRV.
Welcome Back!
Hey Steve, you old wanker. You leave, turnoff your comments, don't let me say goodbye... and then you're back.
I am delighted to see you. Goofball. Don't do that again.
:)
ZANEJABBERS: Nellie Jane was NOT a cow at age eight, just a little heifer. I have lots of "Nellie Jane" stories, but when she got into high school, she met "men" who owned their own bicycles, and I became an instant "bad memory"...
But hell, man, you KNEW all that!
Joe: Thanks. See ya later today, might even read your blog --grin!
GARNET You are right, It was rude of me to not write an amend note, and then--well, then, just CHANGE! (Again!) (sigh!) Still learning...on thing is to "Never say never..." as dAAve reminded me (first commenter above.
Wow, that is an unusual love story, and a great 55.
Thanks for commenting on my blog as well. :)
Good to see you here.
Blessings and aloha...
Personally the thing I found hard is when you left without giving me a chance to say goodbye. Too many suicides and sudden deaths in my life. How much I'd like to have one more conversation with them all...
Anyway, that morbid thought aside, please don't make amends for coming back! I love your attitude, dude! It's a pleasure to have your smiling face around.
Oh so sweet Steve! Childhood love so sweet & innocent and obviously in this case never forgotten! What a precious memory to have! And I adore the photo of the barn too...did you take this photo...it's superb!
