Wholly absorbed in the present
Carrying little of the past
Worrying not of the future
Attached to no person nor thing
I finally taste
The Symphony of Life.
It alone deserves this love--of
My passionate attachments:
Heart, Soul, Mind, Strength
Unencumbered,
Living in the Eternal NOW...
Of what else IS the meaning of life?

Well...
You obviously are not a Monty Python fan..hehehehe
Loved your 55 Maestro...
And You of course...:P
Thank you as always for your GREAT inspiration.
This Rocked!!
Have a Kick Ass Week-End...G
living now and here..Feel like a monk out there... Good one
The meaning of life - I mean - well life and what it means! It always makes me smile when people try to explain what life is all about - will we ever know? Do we have to know? Is it like a manual?
The meaning of life? To die knowing you left something better then when you arrived...Just a fun 55 today!
nicely played steve...to love well...the brings meaning to my life...nice 55.
Nice. best not to know for sure what it's all about. That leaves so many options open.
I’m up here.
Nice philosophy...
Mines up too.
simply elegant, you have a gift with words my friend. it is always a treat to stop by
Symphony ! I do love that word-
sound, shape, meaning...
yes balance and integrity, patterns, passion are wholeness
Good one !
it's THIS kind of wisdom that brings life and light to all who will hear...and i'm listening!!! such an excellent 55, dear steveroni :)
I love this :) in fact it's ME who's glad to have arrived here!
to tell you the truth, I've had this thing for sun rise and sun sets since I was a little girl, which is ironic because I'm totally a moon person :)
regarding Gauguin's quote, I do meditate (irregularly though, do you?) but I relate to this quote more as a dreamer..I see/live through imagination!
I gotta tell you I stumbled upon your blog because of your blogger picture (if you skimmed through my blog you'd know I'm crazy about violins)
in fact, I bought one and started my first lesson today lol but I'll talk about that in a new post :)
you're amazing :)
love from Egypt xx
..the symphony of life... so beautiful...so true..so musical...you rock the place!
This probes... in places we don't always go... because we live in the "eternal now", though the eternal now is all of life... if we care to stop and think. You've confused me, it seems. Yes, Steveroni, you've confused me... my mind's all in a muddle. Or no. It's not you. I've confused myself. To be unencumbered... that is what we all should strive for above all else. Awesome 55, Steveroni!
Nevine
nice, symphony of life... living mine as well!
... History - is over ...
... Future - comes ...
... The symphony of life is always now ... and that is wonderful, glorious, gigantic ... I love NOW!
... Thanks for the 55 words ...
Oh so beautiful, Steveroni! You express such an uplifting and profound philosophy in only 55 words, it is rather wonderful. This is my favourite 55 of yours to date :D
Well orchestrated 55. An outstanding pyilosophy.
This is exceptional!
with such mindset, you are in heaven!
stunning 55.
I've heard it said that we are the instruments and God is the conductor - life is the music. Just think how beautiful the music would be if all of the instruments played according to the conductor's will.
Aren't there encumbrances no matter how hard we try? Just walking to defy gravity is one. But to be willing to be free is an awesome thing.
YEEEESSSSSSs- SIR!
If only it was that easy to me
I am working hard on it though!
;)
Love your way with words! You are gifted. Your writing is a delight to read. Hugs, LS
beautiful! and very zen of you..
"be here now"
tough concept for many to grasp...
no attachments, no suffering...
everything impermanent...
