Rusty and old
Top used to be gold
But in the cellar
Still some color

It Is said
'Twas fire-red

Bereft...Distinguishable
Left on a shelf
Before it...you know,
Extinguished itself.

Something like me
Over the hill
Or even like Thee
When the years will
Accumulate
Accentuate
Violate
Until the final ill
 
Until...nihil

Overlooking cold water's flow
Far, far away, so swift.
I dive to meet it below:

Ahh! actual moment of in-the-water-plunge.
I FEEL my body being "assumed" by saltness,

Beginning at finger tips,
Movement up my arms,
Head, shoulders enveloped
Immediately by the lips
Of ocean's sweet charms.

One single moment that night met day
While enjoying the sweet sound
Of nature, a bird came to say
"Hey! See who I have found!"

And...many miles from my home
Sleeping in the house of another
I stumbled in dark hallway to roam
Where used to live--your mother

Back to bed for awhile.

GOD SEES

I have been wanting to try this out for several weeks, and so this is my first attempt, and I just thought a prayer would be in order. Anyway, it's MY thing, right? I may try a story next week, but feel so inadequate among the fine writers on here...seriously. But God is watching! Shhhhhhhhh!

A PRAYER
