55-WORD FRIDAY...THE DIVE

THIS IS 55-WORD FRIDAY!!

If you wish to write some kind of story in exactly 55 words, let the G-Man know about it and he will respond. Then visit other 55-writers (there are many...) Go HERE

High, high on the cliff,
Overlooking cold water's flow
Far, far away, so swift.
I dive to meet it below:

Ahh! actual moment of in-the-water-plunge.
I FEEL my body being "assumed" by saltness,

Beginning at finger tips,
Movement up my arms,
Head, shoulders enveloped
Immediately by the lips
Of ocean's sweet charms.

Such a cool challenge, to create a scene and experience in this set amount of words - and you've done it perfectly! I long to experience a clean, pure, dip in the beautiful ocean...

Hi Steve.!!
Magical these letters as much as the ocean and water. There's something special in the water, we are essentially water.
So beautiful to fly high!
Besos:)

Beautiful, vibrant and so colourfully alive, Steveroni! You've truly captured that exhilarating and immensely cleansing point as our bodies dart into the cool waters of the sea...this is such a vivid poem, the imagery is a delight :)

This was just absolutely glorious, steve - you can come to San Francisco and you'll certainly feel invigorated diving into the sea around here!!! I, personally, prefer lukewarm water more commonly found in the Caribbean!!!

Steveroni, the poet!

How poignant this poem is considering what is happening in the gulf right now!

Hope you are Steve.
