OASIS TOO! (Two)

OASIS TOO...TWO

While riding south on U.S. Route 27, I came upon a place
named Sebring, Florida.
Had no intention to stay
Wanted to be on my way.
Now, in my third day here---
In 55 words:
This is how it went down:

My "55"

Stopped here two days ago for a drink (water!).
Starbucks, McDonald's--Panera bread
Lady--at motel--Indian princess--said
Stay awhile. Rest a bit. For you, Friend of Bill
We have
Special rate
In this state

Visit meetings
Receive greetings
Of  Peeps
Who have not drank
Since last they sank
into that sea Of oblivion.

Sebring has a Starbuck's and a Panera Bread? Wow, it's changed a lot since I was there.

Nice 55. I especially liked the last stanza.

Loved your 55 Maestro.
Sounds like you met a few friends, and thats really what the beauty of the ride is.
Thanks for checking in Brother, and have a Kick Ass Week-End

Sounds like a nice spot to stop and take a break. They treat you well and respect the efforts you've made toward sobriety. You must like, my dear Steve...THREE days! Safe travels.

What a wonderful experience!

I'm so glad God has kept you in the palm of his hand through all these experiences and has reflected his principles through so many of the people and places you have experienced the trip with!

Have you tried Panera's soup in a sourdough bread bowl? It is SO good, as is their coffee!!

You are so AWESOME, Steveroni, and I am forever in your debt for spelling out the HTML link thing so peeps can zip and zap directly to my 55s, or to any post I should ever like to link to.

Thanks!
