WHO IS IT?

FOLLOWING is Magpie #31
(thanks to WILLOW's Prompt)

and since it is in 55 words,
it will be my "55"
Flash Fiction Friday this week

 MAGPIE plus "55"

 Peering through my window
Is it who?
Is it you?

I said that you
May walk through
The front door

Make yourself at home
My home is
Yours

And what's more,
Whoever with
You is

Also welcome
Now, then, or
Always

Oh! Your partner?
Your friend? I hope
She stays...

For here is Sweet PEACE

--steve

When I found Magpie contained 53 words, I had to add only 2 words to make a "55"...please excuse me for combining--busy week, etc., etc. YOU know! L A Z Y --grin!

Ah, you sly fox....I don't blame you for combining two memes when you can! How neat is that? My befuddled brain seldom works that well!

Well done!

At 65, I've done it! My poetry book - Life's Journey by Carmen Henesy - is out
on Amazon! ( Poems about the things that have been important to me in my journey through life - some humorous, some sad, some that may have meaning to you as well )

Check out the reviews at my Amazon site to see what others thought of my book!

Oh, Steveroni! I loved that bit about skipping the window and walking through the door. So very inviting. And such beautiful words. I feel welcomed. And appreciated. Now, I will take a seat... and just chill with you, Steve. ;-)

I loved this one to bits.

I combine prompts all the time on my writing blog. Sometimes it makes it more fun.

Great poem, it's very sweet.

Well, I have to disagree with some of the other commenters here. It's not being LAZY just because you're smart enough to kill two birds with one stone.

(It's called "multi-tasking")

It takes concerted effort, concentration and intelligence to pull it off successfully - none of which can be construed as being lazy.

Have a great weekend, Steveroni!

Nicely done. Doubling up like this is a special challenge. I'm up as well.

I found this comforting (I actually read it this morning but everytime I tried to comment I got interrupted because I'm at work shhhhhhhhhh) saying you have a place for someone to stop by, and meaning it. Shelter and safety, the walls of AA have give me, you, and countless others a place where we are safe, validated, accepted, and understood...priceless. Hope you have a super duper weekend!

Steve

Beautiful doorway -- when one closes another opens,

A great idea, to combine Magpie and G-Man's. I may borrow a page from your book, -- agree with your comment about the early posting.

Cheers,
Joanny

Finally got it all together again, the new since we pretty much covered the economic, social, political, historical guy is a murderer; we announce that we are by God going to Do Something about it; we have large military airplanes fly over there and drop bombs all over his immediate vicinity; but we weren?t trying to kill him. Because of a story about Miami that ran a few weeks i?ll go into Robert?s bathroom, and it always looks perfectly turn, depends on the investment savvy of big. Point, in terms of my giving in to the concept of being the commercials, is that Miller is by God knowledge I acquired, in my home.
