FRIDAY FLASH FICTION 55

FLASH FICTION FRIDAY 55

WITHOUT A RAINY DAY I COULD
NOT KNOW THE SUN IS SHINING

Thunder is booming
and the bright'ning Lightning
It is all so exciting

Having long been kept at bay
At last, rain coming our way
Plentifully drench this day

Hear noise, feel wet
Ordered chaos--it is set
we will soon have met

God's Wonderful Power's
descent--on all His flowers
And finely, man-built towers

Friday Flash Fiction 55
is a story written in exactly 55 words.
Let the G-Man know if you write one.
and read the ones of your fellow writers.

I love the rain. Indeed one would not realize their significance without the other ( The rain and the sun)

Clean and Crazy: Yep, I went to the dragons, copied out new words, their meanings, tried to write, using prescribed words, even dumb poetry (missed an AA meeting, spent two hours practicing using new words, etc.)...it then dawned on me that I'm in WAY over my head on this "55" thing...

Better just get back to blogging--can't wait!

But thank you for your kind words.

We are supposed to get rain Sunday.
Last week at Rosalie's we had a big ole thunderstorm, just shook the house like we were on a dragon's back. The sky was gorgeous. Love them at night.
Mamie was like glue to me. Lov you post.

The picture and your words together could *almost* make me like rain! Maybe I just see too much of it to ever appreciate it... but I liked your 55!
